Curriculum and Action Planning Tools

These tools will allow you to create your own account with a personal username and password. Once registered, you can create as many curriculum and action plans as you like, as well as return to your work in progress to edit it later. Please note that this one-time registration is different from the front page registration, and remember the user name and password you will have created.

The Curriculum Planning Tool

The Curriculum Planning Tool is a flexible online tool that helps educators, students, and community members to develop their own lesson and action plans using a seven step process.

The Tool mirrors the pre-K-12 Curriculum Units, which were designed for curriculum integration into all schools and classrooms throughout Minnesota in order to teach students the universal language, standards, and process of human rights education.

The Community Action Planning Tool

The Community Action Planning Tool is designed for Human Rights Commissions, School Justice Committees, and other community-based and non-profit organizations for developing their community-specific work plans for This is My Home. It can also be used by other community partners in their human right planning, implementation, research and evaluation initiatives. The updated tool can be accessed below.

Introduction Guide to Online Interactive Human Rights Process Model (PDF - 406KB)

The Human Rights Education Framework (PDF - 761KB) provides a developmental scope and sequence for learning universal human rights language and principles and putting these concepts into practice through new skills and community actions.

View completed Sample Process Models (Lesson Plans submitted using this tool). When you use the Process Model tool, please consider entering yours into our database (click on "Submit" on the Print and Submit page). This will allow us to post your example to share with others.
