include a profile of Muslim activist Asama
Khan and writings by economist and humanitarian
Amartya Sen and Moroccan scholar Fatima Mernissi.
Media
Literacy in a Post 9/11 World
Global Source Education
A lesson to foster an inquiry around the
atrocities of 9.11.01 and its aftermath through
the educational sphere of media literacy.
Students study multiple sources of media and
varying points of view to develop a global
base of knowledge, consider multiple perspectives,
and critically express and discuss a chosen
topic of study.
Remembering
9/11/02: Ideas for the School Community

Suggestions for effective and appropriate
ways for the entire school not only to mark
the anniversary of the terrorist attacks,
but also to deepen its understanding of the
causes and possible responses to such acts
of violence.

the Human Rights Temperature of Your School
