NATIONAL TRAINING OF TRAINERS (TOT) FOR
HUMAN RIGHTS EDUCATION
The Human Rights Resource Center has worked with various communities
to address current discrimination and to develop preventative approaches
to build a culture for human rights in Minnesota, the Upper Midwest,
and throughout the United States. During the past four summers, the
Human Rights Resource Center has facilitated its National Training of
Trainers Institute on Human Rights Education in which 124 Facilitators
from every region of the United States – including approximately
30 from the East coast, 15 from the West coast, 5 from Southern states,
2 from Hawaii, and 72 from the Upper Midwest – were
brought together to share new strategies, methods, and techniques for
educating for the promotion and protection of human rights.
